I have to say though, a lot of the complaints I've heard about this game are physics glitches and poor traffic and npc behavior and I'm like... did these people not realize the original games were like this? I saw a post blaming a random plane crashing into the ground as one of the Definitive Edition's flaws but stuff like that would happen to me like once a week when I played San Andreas as a kid.

So many people have no idea how to cook turkey correctly, so I'm not surprised.

It's super easy to make juicy and delicious, but people overcook it until it's dry as hell and don't season it properly. It's such a disaster I want to go into every person's home and make it for them right..

Probably Galaxy Quest. Aside from the times I watched it on my own they used to air it every weekend on TBS and I'd like, "Oh, hey, Galaxy Quest! Yeah, I'll watch that."

I saw Endgame twice back to back. My friends wanted me to go with them, but I didn't want to wait for everyone to schedule a time and get tickets. So I got a Thursday night ticket first showing ticket for myself as soon as they went up, and then got a ticket to go with them when they finally got everything together.

That's a tough question. Do you mean the one who is liked by the most people? Or the one that is disliked by the least people? I think Wooper is hurt by the fact that a lot of people have no idea who that is. Then there's like Pikachu, who probably has a ton of detractors, but those people are likely largely overshadowed by the millions who love it.

5 > 1 > 2 > 4 > 3

Hot take, I know. But I've never really liked 4. I've given it so many chances, tried out a bunch of different versions of it (I think I've played it like five or six times) hoping that eventually it would hook me and I'd see what everyone else likes about it, but I just never cared for it. It straddles that border between the old school Final Fantasy games where the plot still wasn't good, but it was modern enough to put the plot over the gameplay, which makes for an awful mix. I really dislike how often the characters switch in and out of your party so often, and the limited customization. So there's nothing there that compels me.

I enjoy 1 as a simple dungeon crawling RPG experience. It's not fancy, but it keeps my interest with its simple, solid gameplay.

I like 2 more than most people. It has a ton of flaws, but at least the Dawn of Souls version makes it so the stat leveling up system can actually somewhat work, and once that works I can actually have fun customizing my characters.

I haven't played 3 too often, but it just feels like a worse version of 5 in every possible way. Even the remake didn't fix this problem, and in some ways was worse than the original.

KH1 is probably the hardest in the series. Maybe that or CoM. A Normal on that feels harder than the Proud Mode on other games. (Consequently, the Normal on 2 you can sleepwalk through. 3's Proud feels even easier than that...)

The Gummi Ship builder in 1 is pretty bad. There's a lot of poor design choices in the user interface that make it really cumbersome to use.

2 and 3's editors are much better and are really flexible and cool. I actually had a ton of fun making a bunch of unique ship designs when I was a kid. I didn't really feel like doing it again when I replayed the series though. There's no real point to it aside from whatever enjoyment you get out of customizing the thing, so it might be hit and miss for you. You can make some real neat things out of it though:

I dislike Agrabah. Too many tight spaces in the city area. The pot centipede boss is hell on higher difficulties mainly because you can't move anywhere and the camera gets hung up on everything.

Traverse Town is great though. It might be because of the nostalgia of playing it as a kid, but the feeling of going through those dreamlike alleyways and rooftops was incredible.

Job Job is easily the best game in the pack, hands down.

I really like Weapons Drawn. Lots of good fun, especially when people are clever about hiding their letters and you get these big fun surprises during the reveal.

Drawful Animate is fun, although it really adds nothing more to the game that the first one did. The animations can be really funny though.

The Wheel game is pretty bad. I don't mind the randomness (although others in my friend groups really didn't like it) but it's also just too long. Too much time is spent on the wheel portion. In one game I had enough points to win at the end of the second round. I spun the Winner Wheel and lost, so we went through one more round of trivia. After that ended I immediately got another chance to spin to win and won the game, meaning the previous six or so minutes changed absolutely nothing. Not great game design...

I think the cartoony-ness is fine. It matches the comic-book style of the artwork the games had, and if this is just kind of a "polished up" version of the games, rather than a total remake, I don't think realistic graphics would have looked that well.

And honestly the older GTAs were pretty wacky and cartoony. They were a different style of games compared to the HD universe.

I played with two different groups of friends. Most of the first group didn't care for it that much, but the second group hated it.

I guess it doesn't help that both games were pretty much a blowout. The first time the torches going into the final round were 4-1. The second time it was like 3-0. Also, some people didn't like that each team could overhear what the other team was discussing and wanted to split up the discussion so each team's thoughts were private. That seemed like too much work to do on a video call to me, and didn't seem to be point of the game, but I dunno.

The game is the same, but being in 3D actually pretty radically changes the gameplay significantly. Positioning and reaction time in boss battles becomes even more important than it was before.

There's a hallway in Super Metroid that you have to run down to avoid falling down into in a very, very short pit and for some reason doesn't fully fill out the map when you travel down it. It really ticks me off.

Best: Revenge of Meta Knight

One of the greatest sequences in platform game history. I love everything about it.

Worst: Gourmet Race.

I'd be tempted to put one of the minigames here instead, but at least they do what they're supposed to do. Gourmet Race is just kind of weird and not fun. I know it has banger music, but it even can't do that right; the second level's music runs like twice as long as it takes to beat the stage so you can't even really enjoy the entire song.

If it's a boss you HAVE to fight it can't be that hard, right? But sometimes they go out of their way and make even a mandatory battle super hard.

I remember the Prometheus and Pandora fight in Mega Man ZX giving me so much trouble it left quite the impression on me. Off the top of my head, fights that took me a very long time to get through (as in I had to come back after at least several days and regroup before I beat it) were the Elder Wyrm from FF12 and the Hell Genie from Dragon Quest VII.
